I was born and raised in the Sun City and am a proud El Paso native.  As an attorney, I have been fighting for injured workers in Texas for over ten years.  I am a member of the El Paso Bar Association, the El Paso Women's Bar Association, and the Texas Workers' Advocates.  I previously served as Vice Chair of the Workers' Compensation Section of the State Bar of Texas.  I have been honored to serve on the Planning Committee for the Workers' Compensation Section of the State Bar of Texas Continuing Legal Education seminar.  I have presented several times at the Advanced Workers' Compensation Law Continuing Legal Education seminar held annually in Austin, Texas- authoring articles and presenting on topics dealing with Ethics in Workers' Compensation Claims, Subrogation, Third Party Litigation, Issue and Claim Preclusion, Medicare Set Asides, the 90-Day Defense and Designated Doctors in Workers' Compensation claims.  I have the experience you need for your workplace injuries.  I have handled hundreds of Workers' Compensation cases at all stages- including Contested Case Hearings at the Texas Department of Insurance- Division of Workers' Compensation, Judicial Review of administrative decisions in District Court, and appeals of workers' compensation cases at both the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court of Texas. 

When I am not advocating for our clients, I am advocating for my daughter- Bailey who received a double organ transplant at the age of 3.  As a "Medical Mom", I understand firsthand the impact a serious medical condition can have.  They can be physically and emotionally debilitating.  With a workplace injury, you have the added stress of navigating the judicial process.  I understand how important it is to advocate for your rights in both the medical and judicial setting.  Let me advocate for you.
